cool! i don't know how you do it but usually i just select the outside, and then do a photo filter with no transparency or light of the color i want ( it has to be dark enough to work) i really like the result. do you?

How , (wish i knew what you were talking about I am a PSCS newbie)I just used quick mask after a square, then inverted selection, filter replace colour and eyedroped around his face till I found a grey I liked, ass you can see with your eagle eye I left a small amount of black accidentally along the top border of the frame.

i'm a newbie too with photoshop, but your method seems pretty much similar to mine actually!

and for the tiny black line, yes i had seen it but i thought it was on purpose, to make it seem like the shadow of the frame or something :)

like hunt and peck typing it gets the job done:) it may not be glamorous but effective, online tutorials are my friend, yet sometimes I do the tutorial, make a great photo and cant for the life of me find the functions I used the first time!! Ill get there yet I have my eye on PSCS3 when the cracks come out. using CS2 that way right now, cant open bridge this way though.. mabey next time!
